Long ago, a witch placed a curse upon all wolves after being betrayed by the Alpha of the Twilight Moon pack. No wolf from that day forward would ever feel the bond of a fated mate, and they would all suffer to the point of extinction. That was the plan anyway..... unknown to the witch at that time, the wolves would continue on through chosen mates and the packs would continue to grow until the day of the fated mates.
