Suddenly I felt a rush of adrenaline. They were close. They were surrounding the house, making sure we could not escape. I made my way to the living room and saw some of them walking stealthily into my house. They walked like ghosts. I didn't hear a sound. I removed the pin from the grenade and threw it at them. It blew some of them up but the others immediately opened fire. I returned fire and killed them with one shot each.
Then a grenade was thrown into the living room. I quickly dashed to it, grabbed it, and threw it back. It exploded outside and I wasted no time in opening fire on the ones I saw. Some of the vampires escaped but I quickly threw a grenade after them as well. As it exploded, a powerful force knocked me towards the other side of the room. I regained my balance in mid air and landed safely but my arm was dislocated. I snapped it back into place and looked at my attacker.
For a moment, I couldn't breathe. She stood a few feet away from me, with a pair of swords in her hands. She had the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. Her outfit clung to her body tightly, showing the great curves which didn't bother to hide themselves. From a distance like this, I usually perceived the stench that came from vampires but she had no stench, she smelled like lilies. A natural anger overwhelms me whenever I see a vampire, but I did not want to hurt her. I don't even want to fight her! I just wanted us to lay down our weapons and consummate this affection for my beast was heated up already. It was like a feeling I have never felt.
It was intense, powerful, addictive.

"In here! Hurry!"
I opened my eyes as the words reverberated in my head. The atmosphere was chilly and all too familiar. I looked around the room I was in. I saw the figures in the wall and I ran my hand through a particular one, a figure of a phoenix, one I had made by my own hand. This room look farmliar because it was my old room back then in Amadiran, the one I shared with four other Ztafas. What am I doing here? Was this a dream?
The last thing I remembered was Loraine pushing me through the portal. I remembered I had grabbed the moonstone before I fell into the ring. Yes, the moonstone. I was supposed to be having outbursts of my powers right now. Why wasn't that happening? I looked at both moonstones in my hand and wondered if I had taken a fake. Was that even possible?
"We don't have much time."
I heard another voice speak but the voice came from outside the door. I did not hear footsteps and that made me shiver a little. But staying in this room wouldn't do me any good, especially when I needed to find a way to leave this place, whatever it was. I opened the door and found myself in the corridor. Other doors were opened but no one came out of the rooms. Infact, no one was present inside. I heard some footsteps down the corridor and I decided to follow it. Perhaps it could hold answers to questions I had.
