Kira has simple plans for her life. Get through college, stay in touch with her family, get a job as a teacher until hopefully transferring over to becoming a full-time writer, get married, have kids. But when she wakes up from a car accident in a different world, her plans are rather rudely interrupted. Struggling to adjust to losing her family and her old life, Kira finds support in an adoptive family that accepts her into their lives. She begins to adjust to her new reality and make new plans for the future. But between dragons and shape-shifting princes and magical plots, it doesn't look like her life here is going to let her new plans stay simple either.
