I need a life and have too many stories in my head. I love it though. I started writing pretty young and I have been editing this book for years

“So…” I shrugged. “What do we have?” “We-” Devin made the word sound like it was two syllables, indicating Garcia, Lucy and him. “-We have a case,” he reminded me. “You should be pushing paper or catching up on your hate mail or painting your nails,” I lifted my middle finger and looked around the crime scene. Right as he was, it still pissed me off. It was a brazen body disposal. I spotted a camera across the street. “Devin, I see a camera over there-” “Already on it. I can do my job,“ he said. “Officers on their way.” Garcia was standing over the body. She was not moving. I know how that sounds, given that I was a homocide detective and I dealt specifically with unmoving bodies but she was frozen. Her arms were outstretched and a few centimeters from the ground. I spotted more as I got closer, her hair was still fresh, like it was blown out recently. Her body was bruised all over though. She had been involved in a fight or beaten. The inner flesh of her thigh was exposed. It was sliced open, deeply too. Both of her thighs had been deeply cut, her wrists too actually. That would have caused a lot of blood except there was no blood. This was definitely not the primary scene. It was a deliberate body disposal. This should have probably been the first thing I saw but her neck had been sliced open, larynx frozen but hovering above her neck. Looked like her neck was held there by the skin of her neck as well. This was disgusting **HOPE YOU LIKE THE EXCERPT. PS: IT\'S SMUTTY**
