Nero is a prince of the Mehndi. A race of people who are born with tattoos that represent the animal they shift into. Nero is expected to marry another Mehndi princess but is unconvinced that this is the right decision for the future of his people (and himself). Will his decisions lead his people into a bright new future or will they lead to the destruction of all.
