It’s my 18th birthday tomorrow and I was very excited. Dad promised to get me a car for my 18th birthday. I woke up and got ready for school. I put on a black shorts with a pink tank top, paired with my pink sneakers. I left my straight coffee brown hair open. Picked up my bag and went downstairs for breakfast. ~ After school, I went straight home. Mom and dad were still at work. I shower quickly and change into something comfortable. Then I start watching TV. After an hour mom and dad both come back. Me and dad are sitting on the couch watching a comedy movie and laughing where as my mom is preparing for dinner. I think to myself that I should go help her but I quickly put that thought away. I get up to do some homework. ~ I have never been a girl to sit home and do chores. I love going out and making new friends. I haven’t turned of legal age yet but still socially drink and smoke. I work hard at school and then party hard on the weekends. ~ At midnight on my 18th birthday, I wake up to pain all over my body. As if everything inside me is twisting and turning. I let out a scream, it’s when my parents come running to my room. They look at me and pause for a minute. They said my eyes are changing colours. I couldn’t ask or say anything as the pain kept increasing. My parents holding me and comforting me. Giving me water and cleaning up the sweat from my face. And then they pick me up to take me to the hospital. I could see the worry on their faces. Dad puts me in the back seat of the car. My mom comes and sits with me on the back seat with my head on her lap.
