Time moves at its own pace. When it moves, it turns everything upside down and doesn’t even give a person a chance to recover. In a way, the deeds done by a person inevitably come back in some form. This is exactly what was happening with Manvir now.Perhaps Manvir, or his family, never imagined that the person they deemed unworthy would one day be the one from whom they would have to seek justice. Zarina sat quietly, wiping her tears, and once again got lost in the incomplete dreams of her life.Manvir’s wife was also given a chance to speak in her defense. If Manvir, despite having a wife, could have relationships with other women, then why couldn’t she? When Manvir couldn’t stay committed to his wife, his children, or his relationships, how could he point fingers at someone else’s character? She said, “I only responded to him in his own language.”“Your Honor,” she continued, “I only tried to find a little happiness in my life from my old companion. What wrong did I do, Your Honor? Merely giving birth to children doesn’t fulfill all responsibilities. He searches for a new woman every day. Who knows how many homes he has ruined? When Manvir does all this, is it right? If it’s right for him, then how am I wrong?”Manvir stood with his eyes lowered, perhaps with nothing left to say in his defense. The lawyers were engaged in heated arguments, hurling accusations and questions at each other to weaken the opposing side and strengthen their own. But Zarina was lost in her thoughts, somewhere far away. The lawyers’ arguments concluded. The judge called for order, ended the court proceedings, and set the next hearing date.Lost in her thoughts, Zarina left the courtroom, got into her car, and hurriedly drove home. Sweat beads formed on her forehead, and her heart grew restless. In just a few moments, it felt like Zarina was losing control over herself. She went to the kitchen, grabbed a glass of water, and returned to her room, collapsing onto the bed.Memories of her past life flashed before Zarina’s eyes. So much had changed. What she had imagined and what had happened were worlds apart. Suddenly, darkness seemed to envelop her. Lost in her thoughts, Zarina drifted back to her old life, to the time when she had enrolled in the twelfth grade.---Life was unfaithful, or perhaps the heart turned dishonest, The nights were truly dark, or perhaps the light grew arrogant, The stars laughed, becoming confidants of loneliness, Taking my soul, they tore it from my body, This favor of yours, dear friend, weighs heavy on my heart, The foolish heart fell into boundless love, Calling you mine, today even my body feels lifeless.---Zarina was an extremely beautiful and gentle girl. With blue eyes, fair skin, a slender frame, and a long neck, she looked like a fairy. Anyone who saw Zarina couldn’t take their eyes off her.Zarina was so cheerful that no matter how sad someone was, just one glance at her would make them forget their sorrows and feel compelled to smile. Zarina’s family was Muslim, but they also visited the Gurudwara. Her father owned about four acres of land where he farmed, and alongside farming, he and Zarina’s uncle ran a business in the city. However, they mostly lived in the village.Zarina had just enrolled in the twelfth grade. She was very intelligent and excelled in her studies.Zarina had two very close friends at school: Sweep and Japleen. The three were extremely cheerful and always together, coming to school and returning home as a trio. They seemed closer than sisters.Manvir belonged to a prominent landowning family in Zarina’s village. He had previously lived at his maternal grandparents’ house. With inherited property and the freedom of living away from home, he was reckless and flaunted his wealth. One day, as Zarina and her friends were walking to school, a speeding car passed by them. Since it was an unpaved road, they were covered in dust and dirt. Zarina shouted to stop the car, but it sped off like lightning and soon reached the paved road.Zarina, Sweep, and Japleen wiped the dust from their faces with their dupattas. They were furious inside but could do nothing since they didn’t know who was driving the car. The three turned back toward home. Zarina was especially angry.Sweep and Japleen tried to calm her down as they walked her home.---When I find the time, I’ll write my own fate, With every breath, I’ll pen your mention, My journey begins with you and ends with you, Even my final message will bear your name, Squeezing every drop of my blood, I’ll boldly write your name on this heart.---To be continued...

A sweet smile on your face, The phulkari suits your head so well. A garland of pearls around your neck, The anklets on your feet look charming. Let me become the kohl in your eyes, Or the king of your heart. Let me become the bangle on your wrist, Or the melody that flows from your lips.I’ll burn one day in the pyre’s flames, And you won’t even know of my death. I loved you more than God himself, You were the queen of my life. Now my death will become a story.God knows you are my fate, Or the one who crafts my destiny. Quick to anger over little things, Or the one who soothes an angry heart. Chanting your name, I kindle my heart's light, You guide the way for one lost in darkness.

Preet, sweating in the bitter cold of Poh, was eagerly looking at Kamal with thirsty eyes. Even the candle burning in the room seems to have extinguished by itself. Holding Kamal's hands, Preet was still looking for unconditional love from Kamal. Kamal and Preet's meeting was not the first but the first after marriage. There was a different sparkle in Preet's eyes and the sounds of love from her lips were spreading throughout the room. Preet had surrendered all his soul and body to Kamal, he was supporting Preet as much as he wanted today. Without both of them in the room, there was only wind, which was going back shyly from afar. of the lotus The sweat from the face was falling on Preet's lips making Preet's soul even more happy. With the rumble of the clouds, lightning flashed in the sky, then Preet hugged Kamal even tighter and brought her with him. With the touch of Kamal's hands, Preet's black body turned red. It started raining outside and lightning was shining. When the lightening shines on Preet's face, Kamal looks like love fairies. Kamal starts stroking Preet's face with his hand. This was not the first meeting of Preet and Kamal but the first meeting after Preet's marriage. Today, the happiness on Preet's face had increased more than before when she met Kamal. Preet was so happy that Preet forgot everything else except Kamal. The maidens falling out made the black swirls of love flutter. When the lightning shining in the sky touched the white petals and black swirls of love, it would excite the heart of the lotus even more. The depth of Preet's intoxicated eyes would take Kamal to the deep seas of love. The slow, cold wind brought Kamal and Preet closer to each other. Love was pouring out of Preet's eyes for Kamal today. Swirls of love were doing mischief on Kamal's face by waving in the wind. Preet's heart was beating only for Kamal today. The marks of Kamal's love on Preet's soft cheeks were like a drug to Preet. Preet's whole body would tremble when the cold wind would touch Preet's red lips. On one side, the coldness of Poh and the cold, cold springs, on the other side, the love of lotus and love. Kamal's name was only coming on Preet's lips. Preet's red lips were starting to ache for Kamal even more. Preet's youth had become even more intense in the hands of Kamal. Preet was stroking Kamal with her hiccup. Preet's sweet words filled the whole room with love. Preet's black-black slurp of Kamal starts to turn her hand with love, Preet also hugs Kamal more in her arms. Preet started to feel a cold feeling of Kamal's love. The grip of Preet's hands started to get more intense with the lotus. Kamal and Preet become even closer to each other with Ishq's long shah. The whole room was filled with words of love coming out of Preet's red lips. Preet's youth became more fun by coming into Kamal's hands. Each other's eyeballs were lost in the seas. Kamal and Preet were so engrossed in each other's love that they did not know when the whole night had passed. Preet took Kamal's face in her hands. Preet was looking only at Kamal with fixed eyes. Annie was looking so intently as if Preet wanted to merge into Kamal's eyes. Kamal was also being seen in Preet's intoxicated eyes. Both of them wanted to stop and imprison this time here. Never go away from each other even for a moment. Kamal and Preet looked into each other's eyes and started diving into the deep ocean of love again. Kamal first met Preet in college. Kamal was very clever in reading. He was very shy and gentle before meeting Preet. Although Kamal was almost two thousand years old even while studying in college, no girl had ever come into Kamal's life before Preet. However, Kamal had never turned his attention to love affairs. Kamal's entire focus remained on his studies and his purpose. Kamal's aim was to find a good government job by getting good education. So he used to focus all his attention on finding his destination. Preet was a very beautiful and fair young woman. Earlier she studied in another college. She came to Kamal Wale College in the same year. While Kamal was naive and reading, on the contrary, Preet seemed to be quarrelsome and rob others with her words. Kamal and Preet first met in a bus. Only one bus used to go to Kamal and Preet's village. It was the only time for the bus coming in the morning. All the students used to come in the same bus from four to five villages. Along with the student, there were other passengers in the bus. Due to which the crowd in the bus was also very high. Like every day, Kamal was also coming to college in the bus and Preet was also in the same bus. The bus was also very crowded. They were pushing each other. Preet was also carrying her kit in her bag. With which Preet was finding it even more difficult to stand in the crowd. Kamal was also standing a little ahead of Preet. When Kamal's eyes came to Preet, Kamal felt a lot of disappointment on Preet's face
