Becoming His Darkest ObsessionUpdated at Jul 15, 2026, 17:18
*He destroyed her. Then he had the audacity to fall in love with her.*
Sofia, an orphan, came to college with nothing but a scholarship abd a dream. She never expected to catch the eye of Ronan Declan.
"How much for one night?" He adked and she felt tears forming in her eyes due to the humiliation.
"Leave me!" She said angrily trying to free herself from his grip.
"Don't act innocent, baby. I know how you orphans sleep your way up." He jerked her towards him.
She instinctively lifted her free hand and slapped him right on his cheek.
That slap cost her everything.
One night was enough for him to destroy her.
When Sofia discovers she's carrying his child, Ronan's uncle forces them into a marriage neither of them wanted. Ronan offers a contract with cold, clear conditions: give him an heir, then disappear. Never fall in love with him. Never expect anything from him. But satisfy him in bed.
She didn't plan to.
But Ronan didn't plan for Sofia either.
He told himself it was possession. That watching her with other men made his blood boil because she belonged to him. That the guilt eating through his chest at night was nothing. That the way he memorized her voice, her eyes, the stubborn tilt of her chin when she refused to break meant nothing.
He was wrong.
The problem is, Sofia remembers every detail of the night that shattered her. And no amount of obsession, regret, or desperate love can undo what Ronan Declan did to her that night.
He wants her forgiveness, but she wants her freedom.
And somewhere between a forced marriage, a war with a vengeful enemy, and a bullet meant for her heart, they will both have to decide what love actually costs
