At the beginning of the book the main character has an unclear idea of the girl’s name. However, he gets to most of it through the lady’s sentiments. The elder sister was having a pancreatic disease which she knew would take her life. Even with such hesitation, she was not hopeless. She wanted to do things and achieve more in life. He becomes wrapped up over time and through the journal, goes under the impression of meeting Mrs. Yamauchi, discovering her dreams, and her life philosophy.How it was with four meetingsSome time later, the protagonist bumps into Sakura at the hospital. In the first instance, he expected her to be dead but she is robust and has an energetic character. After disclosing her she explains that they started to treat the disease a long period back so it will not shorten her life.
