A story set an in alternate feudal Japan which is locked in a war with Korea. Korea has 5 warriors known as Sungyohan Byeol-ui Yeonghon or the Soul of the Martyred Star blessed with ancient power. Our protagonists are Yumi Seinaruha, a female samurai who is looked down upon by her male peers and Rīgaru Hantā an escaped Japanese war prisoner turned Korean soldier, raised in a shinobi village.
