A princess from the lineage of Lady Guineviere, falls in love with a young man from Mistmeadow. They meet in a secret garden while he is taming all kinds of animals and is talking to people that visit the secret garden. But when the princess fell in love with him, he dissapeares and she has to go through many trials and adventures to find him. Afer finding him, Effie cooks and bakes for him and brings him special raspberry cake. Then they move in together and live happily with their cats, guineea pigs, bunnies, dogs, chicken, ducks and hermelins. He helps her around the house and becomes the gardner of her big mansion.
