Due to both of their grandfather’s arrangement, Athena Raven Blackwood and Ares Alexander Frost are forced to get married. Following their nuptials, Ares candidly warns Athena to harbour no expectations from their marital union, but pledges a life of comfort for her. Athena tries to persuade him that they could make it work, but Ares makes his decision final. Athena isn’t satisfied with this but nevertheless yields as they cohabit under the same roof, existing outside of each other’s world, but to the world, they put on a show of a happily married couple. With the interruption of childhood friends who enter their lives to rip the couple apart, they begin to realize an unquenchable burning desire for each other. However, their stubbornness and ego blinds their eyes to their true feelings. Situation and circumstances arise which test their loyalty and supposed marital bliss.
