The world is lost in the throes of war between the living and the Void that threatens to consume them all, but all that seems irrelevant to the half-elven daughter of the Banshee Queen as she sets out to obtain answers about her father and the shadowy legacy her mother failed to share. Aellia has tried her best to remain outside of the war being waged against the Void in favour of finding answers about who her family really is, even if her arranged partner is trying to dissuade her from pursuing such things. Regardless of how much she tries, it seems that the war threatens to throw her into the thick of things as she delves deeper into the answers that maybe she should've left alone. Aellia struggles to set aside her need for answers, and her need to protect those who cannot... In the end, will it be the Void that destroys her... Or the answers she's been searching for?
