I love fantasy and romance. There is something about a good story that can transport you to places. Pet peeve - bad grammar and bad spelling.

Alpha's Surrender

This night I felt the pull of the Great Mother to dance, to celebrate the Earth itself. I yelled out to my pack-sister Tempest. "Hey Tempest! I'm feeling the clubs tonight! Apparently there's a new band in town playing tonight." Tempest replied. "Come on Luna, you know that your parents will kill us! We are supposed to be out picking up ..." "What -?! Flowers, wood, and incense?! Really?! But the lead singer Simeon is from Europe! Come on sis, this is a once in a lifetime gig!" I interrupted with the sweet tone which I knew would get me one step closer to the clubs. "You know your Dad's beta John will not be happy about this." Tempest reasoned with me. "Ohhhhh, don't remind me! Yeah, he's constantly pushing me around like I'm still the same little girl with pig tails." I moaned. "Ha! Sometimes I swear you like doing things just to piss him off!" Tempest said with a smirk. "Who?! John?! Please?! Nothing I do gets under his skin. He's the original caveman with the emotional depth of a pencil!" I laughed. "Ha! You clearly didn't see him the other day! He was throwing punches into trees. I swear the Great Mother herself was about ready to throw him out of his little cave on his a--." Tempest laughed aloud before her mouth quickly swallowed the end of her sentence as John landed safely from the tree with preternatural grace. He was a fine specimen but I was never going to tell him that, and besides which he was 11 summers older than me. He would never see me as anything other than the 16-year-old with pigtails, il mia grattina. "Hmm... a pencil?! Really?! Are we drawing comparatives with my brain and lead or perhaps calling me sharp? Either way I'm not sure where you're going with this but I know you're not going out!" John came around the corner exclaiming. "Oh shit!" I mouthed at Tempest. "Ummm hey John! How much did you just hear?" I asked. We had been made so it was just easier to own up to it and see how much damage control I had to do to clean up this situation...
