THE CHRONICLES OF THE SUN KEEPER

frican History Part I: The Lore & Fictional Framework The Premise History is not merely a record of the past; it is a living, breathing river of spiritual and physical energy. In this epic narrative, the history of the African continent is safeguarded by The Order of the Sun-Keepers, a secret lineage of temporal guardians who walk through the "Great Baobab"—a mystical nexus connecting all eras of African civilization. When Bakar, a rogue Guardian corrupted by the desire to erase Africa's legacies and rewrite them in gold and blood, steals the Embers of the Sun (mystical artifacts representing the genius, resilience, and soul of each great African empire), history begins to fracture. To stop him, a young, reluctant apprentice named Kofi and his ancient, battle-worn mentor Aminata must leap across time, joining forces with real historical figures to recover the Embers before the continent's memory is lost forever. The Fictional Characters ● Kofi (The Seeker): A nineteen-year-old scribe's apprentice from late 19th-century Freetown. Gifted with "the sight," he can see the threads of history. He is hesitant, scholarly, but possesses a fierce sense of justice and untapped courage. ● Aminata (The Weaver): An immortal warrior-historian who has lived for centuries. She has fought alongside Queen Amanirenas of Kush, advised Mansa Musa, and defended the walls of Great Zimbabwe. She wields a spear of cosmic bronze and a sharp, cynical wit. ● Bakar (The Shadow): The antagonist. Once the greatest of the Sun-Keepers, he came to believe that the only way to save Africa from future colonial devastation was to dominate time itself, turning the historical empires into a unified, militaristic super-state under his eternal rule.
