I could feel my cheeks burn, I was shivering with my voice trembling. I woke up in the middle of the coldest night of January sensing danger around me. It was now alarmingly closer to my side of the bed. I couldn't wake the others as we didn't own any weapons or atleast a stick we could hit it with, only fighters had them. In case we decide to attack it together, that would give it enough time to signal the others then the situation would go out of our hands and we are all dead meat. I was supposed to press the emergency alarm in such situations but it was on the other end of our long bed, definitely not reachable. The air around me got thick, I didn’t think of myself. I wanted to save my brother before it reached out to eat him.
