Blood and MadnessUpdated at Jun 18, 2026, 02:37
In autumn 2015, 19-year-old Arthur Volkov enters the walls of Morrowe University hoping for an escape from the dark thoughts and a hazy future. But the dream he has every night is not the relief he had hoped for: a bloody, pale girl, constantly repeating the same question to him, 'What took you so long?' When Arthur finally meets the girl in reality, he finds out she is called Lenore. With breathtaking beauty, mystery and an unbelievable familiarity, she knows more about him than a stranger should, and as their connection develops Arthur is gripped by an unexplainable obsession, while on campus a darker side starts to reveal itself. Students disappear without a trace, memories can be deleted, and doors which should not be there start appearing on corridors where they don't belong. Teaming up with friends Noah Whitaker and Isabelle Hawthorne, Arthur delves into the history of Morrowe and uncovers a hidden order known as the Order of the Violet Flame, connected with the disappearances, unknown identities, and an age-old power hidden under the university foundations. As Arthur and Lenore grow closer, Arthur begins to feel torn between the people who want to protect him and the girl who truly understands him more than anyone ever has done. Blending dark gothic horror, psychological obsession, forbidden love, supernatural mystery, and the decay of morality, Morrowe is the tale of two souls drawn together across centuries-and the monstrous potential within love when corrupted by obsession.
