Framed and executed for the murder of his wife 40 years ago Charles Madison is now The Shell Spirit of Vengeance. A being between life and death The Shell gives the departed closure by wreaking the vengeance they cannot obtain themselves, and keeping the balance between the physical and spiritual worlds by defending the living from a multitude of supernatural evils. Something is happening in the city of Boston, where The Shell is the local Spirit of Vengeance. Evil spirits are flocking to the city in droves and are showing much more power and influence over the living then once thought possible. Joined by his friends and allies, Charles must find who or what is causing this and put an end to it before something truly terrible happens.
