The Gods are overthrown over a thousand years ago, they are banished to eternal confinement with only one hope of rescue, turning Aries The God of War into a werewolf to hide his identity among those on earth in hopes of one day he can free them. In a twist of plot he is mated with a Wyoming woman after yellowstone is blown up to free the gods and the human world is forever melded with the mythical world of old. The plan goes awry as it also frees the very being that imprisoned them and war is on the brink. His disappointment in his average human mate is soon turned around by his mate being kidnapped by the evil being and she is changed into a rare werewolf hybrid elf. As she learns to master her new self and recover from her trauma she wins not only Aries over, but the other gods as well as they learn to adapt to their rule of the new world and they enter the first battle of the war to keep the new world from being ruled by the evil being.
