Jak is a veteran pilot. Myra is the leader of her village. When they are united in an arranged marriage to strengthen their families' alliance and ensure healthy offspring Jak and Myra are unsure if they can love one another. Though they struggle to make the marriage work for the sake of their families, Myra still grapples with the loss of her long dead lover, and Jak is beset with deep personal insecurities. When their villages come under attack Jak and Myra must seek a lost artifact from the age when Jupiter's moons were first colonized - and each must face their personal demons to do so before it's too late.
