Vanguard 001 is a fore runner sent by the Galactic Sovereignty to traverse space's vast galaxies, and suspected habitable exoplanets in a far away galactic cluster, possibly containing sentient beings with or without malicious intent. As the pathfinder for the human race Vanguard 001 was fitted with the best amour tecnology and equipped with the most advanced deep space voyager (Semi battle ship), Vangaurd's mission was simple yet arduous, he was to explore, identify, access and return, but when 001's deep space voyager(DSV) entered the Andora stream(Border to the Mayer Galaxy), it seized to transmit feedback or reports. After the standard wait of 60 year's the was still no answer from 001's DVS so the Galactic Sovereignty sent a more improved Vangaurd 002 following a different route into the Mayer Galaxy, to recover 001's data and Identify 001's short coming, but this was what the public was told.
