I am Mazi Obiekwe E.V. I Udochukwu, a Nigerian writer, storyteller, and cultural researcher dedicated to preserving the wisdom and spirituality of African ancestry through fiction and historical reflection.
My works are deeply rooted in Igbo cosmology, African mysticism, and the echoes of oral traditions that shaped our people long before colonial influence. I write to awaken memory, to remind readers that every story carries a spirit, and every spirit has a story.
Through my novels, poems, and essays, I blend culture with imagination, weaving tales that travel between time, myth, and identity. I believe storytelling is both a calling and a bridge between worlds, the living, the dead, and the unborn.
I draw inspiration from ancestral teachings, ancient symbols, and the rhythm of the land. My writing seeks not only to entertain but to restore pride, faith, and consciousness in African readers everywhere.
When I am not writing, I immerse myself in history, music, and the study of African spirituality. I also mentor young creatives who wish to express their voice through literature.
Every page I write is a journey of remembrance, a way to speak to the past, shape the present, and guide the future. I believe in stories that breathe, awaken, and transform.
When Chima narrowly survives a fatal accident, he begins to see fragments of another life, visions of kingdoms, flames, and a woman who calls him Obinna. Each dream draws him closer to an ancient curse buried beneath the African sun. As strange symbols appear on his skin and forgotten memories flood his mind, Chima realises his past life is reaching out for justice.Hunted by forces he cannot see and guided by a spirit he cannot resist, he must uncover a relic powerful enough to reshape the world, or destroy it again. In a race between fate and rebirth, one man’s past will decide the future of them all.
