KATALEYA It’s never going to end, is it? “What is?” Tritan, her husband, peered through slits at her, narrowing his eyes. His dirty blonde hair sat a mess on his head, falling between his forest green eyes. Kataleya pressed her lips in a line. She had not meant to say that aloud. She turned her face away. She can no longer bear to see his face. “Look at me.” He commanded. His voice, no matter how loud and demanding he pretended to be, did nothing to faze her. But she also did not want to spend the next few days in that filthy room in isolation and darkness. She had no choice but to look up into his eyes. “I am your Alpha. You, you are nothing to me.” Tritan snarled. Kataleya stared back at him. Not a single trace of emotion could be found on her porcelain face. This made Tritan secretly angry. Why? Why can’t she cry and break down to show him how miserable she was? In the three years they have been together, Tritan always wondered why the woman did not once shed a single tear. It baffled him, but that didn’t stop him from making her life worse. He broke her, so many times, that she had nothing left. In his eyes, she had become the cold, heartless daughter of the beta whom he had killed for daring to go against his desire to marry Kataleya. She was the most beautiful woman in the pack. Sought for by all men, and one who made every other woman envious of her beauty. Tritan managed to gain her trust, and not long after, her heart. But all that ended when he ordered her father’s death. Now, she had nothing left. She faced Tritan with the same emotionless mask, although she was disgusted as he pulled himself out of her tight sheath. He withdrew from the bed and turned away from her, buttoning up his shirt. “Remember not to show your face at the party. I don’t want the Lycan King setting eyes on you even for a second.” He grumbled.
