Abigail Mason is the only daughter of Victor Mason, the beloved mayor of Detroit, who is currently running for re-election for his third time in office. Abigail, an investigator for the central Detroit police department, was rumored to have obtained her position there through her father’s deeds and pulling the right strings. An ‘ill gotten’ job as some would describe it. This has had an impact on her working life, as her fellow co-workers have constantly tried to ruin her reputation as an investigator through different means. But as a long going investigation of the notorious hacker, H, becomes known to her through the grape vine, she is intrigued. She also asked why she hadn't been assigned it before. Yet another chance for her ‘fellow’ co-workers to have a go at her saying that its too much for her, and let the real investigators figure it out. She sees this as an opportunity to cease the rumors about her ‘ill gotten’ job. But it’s now apparent that everyone at the station dislikes either her or her father. Disliked enough to be given this near impossible task, with a ridiculous time limit and with her job on the line as an unfair repercussion for failing to perform. Abigail Mason, is now working on her toughest case yet. It’s time for her to show that she has what it takes to be amongst her co-workers and recognized for her wit and efforts. But will it be enough? What if she never finds out who the notorious ‘H’ is? And if she does, would it all be for nothing?
