Gayle Rueco is an architect student whose only escape route is reading books due to the stress from her plates and other requirements. She is a cheapskate and buys a book for less than a dollar from a book sale store. Some of the books she purchased had different notes in the same handwriting on the first page. She became curious about the person who wrote it, for it seemed like a love letter for someone. Her discovery of the owner has opened a new book and has resulted to foreseen events that she can only read through the pages.
