Mated to the Vermore BrothersUpdated at Apr 9, 2025, 09:17
"Don’t flatter yourself!" he snapped, making me flinch. "You’re only here because my brother wants you around."
Obvious lies, yet—
"That night was a flimsy mistake, Bailey. A lapse in judgment on my part, but it's done. You don’t interest me anymore, and you’d do well to start acting like it."
He sounded like he was trying to convince himself, but the words were a knife in my chest regardless.
Why was he doing this? He was the one who'd ensured my safety—kept me here until I recovered—and now he was denying it?
I was his mate! Not some passing fling he could reject with those treaterous lips—especislly when his eyes and the rest of his body betrayed him.
He wanted me.
And I’d make him admit it, even if I had to stoop so low to test his defences.
“Really?” My chin raised in defiance as I let my satin robe drop to the floor. “Then I suppose this wouldn't interest you?”

When Bailey, the estranged wife of a powerful werewolf heir, is betrayed by her husband and left for dead on the edge of Lycan territory, she’s rescued and brought to their kingdom where Lycan brothers, Hallowell and Welwyn—the same men she'd had a one night stand with, who both also happened to be her mates—rule.
But nothing prepares her for when Hallowell, her once fiercely protective and passionate Alpha, denies their bond and dismisses their attraction—without giving her a valid reason.
Now as deceit and passion collide, Bailey must fight for her place in a world that wants her out—and for the mates who may be her only salvation.
Will she be able to tear down Hallowell’s walls and claim the love that’s rightfully hers, or will whatever secrets he harbours—along with the dangers lurking—destroy their three-way bond before it can truly begin?
