Dragons had become a part of life. Ever since their appearance, the only thing that would keep them from burning and pillaging was the sacrifice. Monthly lots were drawn for the unlucky few. What became of the sacrifices was unknown, only that they were never heard from again. The dragons came, took away their sacrifice, and left just as swiftly. Could there ever again be peace throughout the land?
