"You hate me, don't you?" He said staring directly at me with his deep brown eyes. "So what if I do?" I replied calmly, staring back at him with just as much intensity in my own blue-eyed stare. "Do you have an actual reason for hating me?" He asked, looking slightly frustrated. "Oh, I could think of a multitude of reasons." I replied calmly, folding my arms across my chest and rolling my eyes at him in annoyance. "Are you ever going to stop hating me?" He questioned as he took a step back from me and ran his hands through his hair, turning away. "Maybe one day," I replied with scepticism clear in my voice. "All I need is one good reason." I finished, leaning against the wall behind me and tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear. He looked up at me then, watching me curiously, "Only one?" He inquired in disbelief. "Mmm Hmm." I responded with a hum, nodding my head softly. "Okay," He acknowledged, turning to face me, properly once again and taking a step forward, leaning his head close to my ear, "Challenge accepted." He whispered huskily before pulling back with a smirk plastered on his face as he turned around and walked away. ========================= Blake Matthews.
