Marianne Talbot could never fit in with her perfect family. After working thanklessly to make her sister's wedding a success, one push too far sends Marianne to seek solace with her friends at a party. Only for that entire party to be rounded up in government trucks and shipped off to a large-scale factory in the middle of nowhere. Stripped of their outer identities, Marianne and her friends are used as slave-labour to a man called Mr. Pillor. An extremely powerful figure-head who takes the decision of life and death into his own hands, daily. His only love in life is money and the power it affords him. Seeing no way out, other than escaping, Marianne must use all strengths at her disposal, and lead her friends, her followers, and the man she loves to the other side of their prison gates...

My name was Betti
Updated at Jul 12, 2021, 00:33
Betti doesn't like to think about her life before the Ghetto. When everybody was kind to one another, when her life was stable and carefree, when she didn't have to wear the star of David that marked her as a Jew. They say tomorrow will be kinder, but every day that seems to grow farther and farther from the truth. Especially when large, mysterious trucks start to arrive and take everybody away to an unknown fate. Eventually, Betti ends up on one of those trucks, and what follows is an eventful struggle for survival. But with a will as strong as iron, an unrelenting spirit and the support of a man she loves, Betti is determined to see the end of this war-at a serious cost. One so big, it may just consume her before her dreams could even have a chance of coming true.

I plan to develop more of my story ideas into actual stories and have one of my stories properly published. I have wanted to publish many times, but I have always seemed stuck in a rut, when it comes to knowing exactly what I want for my stories.

Hazel's always wanted to do the right thing by her family. Sometimes she even succeeds. Hazel and her sister Audrey have spent over half their lives trying to bury the past but what do you think would happen if the past somehow found them? Beaten and bleeding on their doorstep no less. Nick Koster represents everything Hazel is trying to forget. A past of loneliness and childhood abuse. But like her, he's got a past he'd rather leave behind. Their shared past and hardships is what brings them closer together but can that very same thing be what drives them apart?
