A young woman by the name of Rosalie had an attack on her town for what people say, an unknown reason. Through this attack, many lives were lost, but her father's body was never found. Years later, she discovers an unsettling truth to why her town was so isolated from the world, and who she and all the other children really are. She's determined to venture past the lands she has always known and find the truth of everything hidden from her small world. That is until she meets someone along her journey, a voice inside of her calls out and the only thing she hears when she locks eyes with them: "Mate."
