EXPOSITION The story begins with Isabella Brooks, a tenacious young woman determined to succeed in the corporate world. She joins Stone Enterprises, a prestigious conglomerate owned by the wealthy Stone family. INCITING INCIDENT Their story starts with an intense dislike for each other. Before Isabella begins her role as Alexander's secretary, they cross paths at a chance encounter in a crowded coffee shop. Isabella, who has no idea who Alexander is, mistakes him for someone else and delivers an acerbic comment. Alexander, used to deference and politeness, responds with equal disdain. RISING ACTION Pharrell Tech institute: A rival company in San Francisco bids for the same contract as Stone enterprise, which runs into millions of dollars. Determined to give it his best shot Alexander organizes a pitch program lasting for a week where both male and female staff at Stone enterprise would be paired together, to rehearse for the D-day. The best pair would be sent off to represent the company. Alexander pairs himself with his secretary Isabella. During this period, they discover each other's strengths and vulnerabilities, slowly peeling away the layers of their initial animosity. Unexpectedly, a spark of attraction begins to smolder beneath the surface but still both of them try not to be vocal about it. And then another, until Alexander begins to miss Isabella, rekindling his initial feelings for her. He sets out to bring her back. DENOUEMENT On finding Isabella, Alexander discovers she is already employed as secretary somewhere else at Hughson’s Mall and a fresh rivalry begins between him and Isabella’s new boss Jack Connor with a lot of back and forth. Isabella still had feelings for Alexander but doesn’t show it. Later on Isabella’s grandfather had gotten seriously ill with lots of cash needed to save him. And for Alexander as well, his enemies and competitors had decided to make him pay for their too many losses. Alexander goes undercover to research more about Isabella and discovers her sick grand mum. And secretly forwards the needed cash from an anonymous account. But Jack Connor who was also on Alexander’s trail had claimed responsibility and lied to Isabella who out of gratitude started to date him. Alexander is later framed up for fraud and is about to be imprisoned. But when Isabella later learns the truth about the donation and the frame up of Alexander, she breaks up with Jack and goes in search for Alexander; both of them coming together to fight off their many enemies, realizing how strong they were as a team.
