Michael Black had a peaceful life as the eldest son of one of the oldest families in England, but after returning home after two years in the Black Navy, the family's military organization, Michael is challenged by the prince to a duel at the hand of Annie Lawford and from that day on, things only got worse until Michael ended up in total despair after losing everything and taking the hand of a being older than existence itself. This is a story of love and tragedy, where perhaps "Happily Ever After" is not an option.
