Chapter 1 Skylar's POV My name is Skylar I'm 17 years old, I have pitch black hair and my eyes are two different colours one is ocean blue and the other one is purple, some say I have the eyes of a freak, I'm 5feet and 2inches so yeah I'm short, and believe me there isn't a short joke out there I haven't heard before, I am an alpha female wolf , rare but not unheard of, usually only males took over packs but my Mom and Dad never had any more children and my Dad was content with me taking over the pack he used to say I was special and born to lead our pack, he was teaching me from a small girl what it took to be an Alpha and the responsibility that comes with being an Alpha , our pack is located in Forest city, California , a small town surrounded with trees and land for miles and miles , we need a lot of land as our wolves' love being close to nature, Dad made sure that the town has everything we need to survive, and everyone has a job to do and our pack is quite wealthy, my Dad was the best Dad and Alpha there was , I'm saying was because He is dead now He and my Mom died protecting me, there was a border breach and the rogues have been attacking for days on end, well this time around the Rogue King himself came and well as you can figure my Mom and Dad didn't win the fight , I was still a pup when they died, rogues are wolves that have either done something really bad and was banished or cast out of the pack and because we are pack animals not being part of a pack makes them crazy the other reason some become rogues are they have lost their mate see, a mate is our other half a gift from the Moon Goddess Selene herself they complete you and make you stronger they are our soulmates , when you lose your soulmate some wolfs lose their mind and go crazy because they cannot handle the pain of living without their other half some wolfs reject this gift because they think the Moon Goddess made a mistake or they do not want the person as their mate. Alpha Jackson took over our pack, see I was 7 years old and not old enough to be taking over entire pack, he was friend with my Dad and he was also our neighbour pack now two packs are combined we were The Royal Claw Pack and they were the Blue Fang Pack, now that the two packs joined we are the Royal Fang Pack Alpha Jackson kept something of both packs when he renamed the two packs ,Alpha Jackson has three triplet sons, growing up they would pull lot of pranks on me and I might or might not have also pulled a couple of pranks on them as well, I have a very big dislike for them they are the worst, they are four years older than me, and you would think being older would make you mature well no it doesn't, they are 21 now and have yet to find their mates , but that doesn't stop them fucking anything with legs. I know this sound very awful, but I hope they don't find their mates, they are already full of shit I can only imagen what their mates would be like, they never keep a girl longer than a couple of weeks they have regulars Britney, Cindy, Mindy and they are hoping they are Alexander, Noah and Leo's mates. I really hope they aren't they are noting but shallow and selfish and our pack really doesn't need them as Luna's. See because they are triplets all three of them are Alpha's being the Alpha's sons and being born only a couple of minutes after each other, they will be running this pack together once they find their mates. See Alexander is the first born he is the smart one he likes battel strategy and planning ahead and solving problems then there is Noah he is second born, he is good in delegation, he has compassion for those around him and is good at listening and absorbing information from people and has respect for other people's opinions , then there is Leo see he is the one you have to be careful of he goes in head first ask questions later he doesn't have that much patience and is one amazing fighter no one has ever beaten him in training , he has this vision of what he would love the pack to reach and he is always helping pack member better them self in training , see they each have these qualities witch would make them the perfect leaders. They will be great leaders I just hope their Lunas will also have the following qualities: patients, unconditional love for pack members, empathy, humble, have respect, forgiving, needs to give encouragement be a good listener and be mindful that's all the qualities a good Luna has to have I would know my Mother had them all and everyone in the pack loved and respect her for it. I'm turning 18 in three weeks, then I'm planning to head up to Los Angeles, California, we went to the beach one year and I just fell in love with the ocean. See even though we are two packs combined and I'm techincaly the Alpha off my Dad's pack, Alexander and Leo made it pretty clear they will never let me rule, and I won't put my people through war and take innocent life just to be an Alpha my Dad wouldn't want that.
