Chapter One I was on my way to work when it happened. I thought I had my guard up. After all I am an eighteen year old vampire who was only turned eight months ago on her birthday. Like surprise, happy birthday bam vampire. Granted I didn't know what was happening ya see I've always been sort of special. Long story short I was born with powers. I’ve always been that weird kid where no one wanted to be around or I was bullied. Especially with my purple eyes that’s where my name Violet comes in. People always thought they were a genetic mutation since my mom had light blue eyes and my dad had brown eyes. Yeah makes no sense I didn’t understand either.
