ABOUTquote
Greetings everybody! I\'m Jai! I am a mixed race twenty seven year old female from the United States of America. I am an artist and gardener. I have been a massive fan of reading and writing for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I was entered in writing contests and always excelled in all of my writing classes. It is an extraordinary thing to read or write a book that takes your mind away from your mundane life and into a new world with endless possibilities. I truly hope that others enjoy my books as much as I love writing them. I used to write on another platform when I was younger, but I have been loving reading on Dreame, so I wanted to give my book a try on here.

Finding Harmony Amongst Supernaturals
Updated at Jul 31, 2025, 04:19
In the town of Timberghost, three human girls’ lives take a sudden dramatic change. What they thought was going to be a night of fun, ending up being quite the opposite. Eve gets kidnapped, leaving Jasmine and Victoria to explain to her family how it all happened because they were stalking the famous band, Pariahs. As time passes, secrets are revealed to Eve that make her question everything. What if supernaturals actually exist? What if they are not all bad? Could she be convinced that there was no need to fight against this-him? Eve finds herself infatuated with a particular supernatural named Enzo. Can she trust him? What will become of her life now? How can she protect herself, family, and friends from this new revelation? Could supernaturals and humans find a way to live in Harmony? . . . “I don’t think that you are a monster.” I say to him, giving a small smile. He turns to look at me with a serious face. “Good, I don’t care what a lot of people think, but I truly value your opinion of me. I am not what some of my kind choose to be. We’re not all bad...I’m not bad.” I squeeze his hand in encouragement. “You’ll see tonight, some of the good supernatural beings out there. Just because we are different, does not make us all evil.” My thumb caresses his hand soothingly. I know this subject has gotten him worked up. He is afraid that I will be quick to judge him and the rest of his kind just for the actions of some. “I think you’ll like the place..” His voice does not sound as confident as it usually does. He is now nervous about my views on the supernatural. . . The television is still on in my room. I grab the remote and click it off. The place becomes silent. I am not sure if it was a good idea to turn it off or not considering the slightest sounds are making me jump now. I go over and stand by the open door in my room, looking down the hall to make sure I keep the front door in my view. If someone did come in, at least I would see them..but then what? What would I do after they come in? Our floor is so high up that jumping out of the window is just not an option..Unless I think that I would face a worse death by staying. . . “As if my life wasn’t already complicated enough.” I say out loud. I feel him tense. His movements around my head halt. “Complicated because of me?” He questions. “No, not because of you. I mean, you were an unexpected surprise...but I’ve enjoyed my time with you. Well, at first I was scared, but now that I understand more, it’s..pleasant. Still confusing, but things seem to be coming along better...My life was complicated long before I met you.” I admit. . . “Do you want him to be dead?” Enzo asks. Now it is my turn to tense up at his words. He feels my discomfort and instantly tries to soothe me by rubbing my back. My body responds to his right away, and my muscles relax. It’s still so strange how my body reacts to his. It’s as if it knows Enzo and is fully trusting of him. My brain is the only one that is still struggling to completely accept him. My brain holds memories, and still recalls how some of those who are supposed to look out for me sometimes end up being the ones that hurt me the worst. . . “So many questions. Always so curious.” He says lowly to me. “Can you blame me? Your world is interesting and very different from what I’m used to. It would be odd if after all that I have witnessed, I didn’t ask you about things.” I reply, still looking at him from the passengers seat. “Besides, I thought that you didn’t mind my questions?” I really hope that he has not grown tired of me asking about his world. His eyes dart over to mine momentarily before going back to focusing on the traffic in front of us. “I will never tire of your questions Eve. You are always free to ask me as many as you’d like. I only pray that you will always be interested enough to keep asking."
