Evil in the VeinsUpdated at Oct 21, 2026, 01:34
Daouda Diaw never had the chance to choose his place in the world. Marked by a family tragedy from childhood, he grows up surrounded by suspicion, accusations, and prejudice. As he moves through life, a reputation he does not deserve turns him into an outcast, both among his own people and among those who should have been there to help him.
As Daouda desperately tries to understand why others reject him, only one person shows him genuine affection: Tierno Diaw. A deep bond grows between them, strong enough to withstand family divisions and the trials they face.
But when Daouda’s suffering reaches a critical point, a life-changing decision will alter both their destinies. The hope of a better life drives them toward the unknown, into an adventure whose consequences no one can foresee.
Separated by circumstances, Daouda and Tierno will have to survive on their own. One will be forced to confront loneliness and the wounds of his past, while the other will discover exile, the hardships of integration, and the prejudice of a foreign society.
Along their separate journeys, new encounters, friendships, rivalries, and love stories will transform their lives.
The Evil Within is a story of family, abandonment, exile, and resilience. It explores the cruelty human beings can inflict upon those they fail to understand. Yet beneath all the suffering lies one essential question:
Can we escape the judgment of others and take control of our own destiny?
