All The ColorsUpdated at May 31, 2021, 17:41
Life isn’t a simple black or white slate. Sometimes, inbetween it all, you’ll detect a splash of green, or even a hint of yellow. But on the worst of those days, you’ll see a whirlwind of colors and a tornado across the canvas. The colors will never stay constant or have any correlation, and they will never stop coming. Even when all you want them to do is leave the canvas blank for a millisecond. You have to follow along with what the colors have in store for you, with your fingers crossed behind your back.
There is a hundred and eighty degree turn between the colors gray and yellow. Worst days and best days. Bad decisions and glad decisions. But that was something the group of fifteen-year-olds still were yet to learn.
Adam Park, Adelyn Conner, Ivy Green, Lucas Conner, Savannah Roberts, and Wesley Roberts go way back. They were best friends, and siblings by heart. They gave each other blobs of yellow in between their gray times. The friends were inseparable, till the third-grade. The third-grade was when everything fell apart when Lucas and Adelyn left. The group drifted and slowly fell apart, invested in their own lives and tiny circles. Gray was covered by a false yellow tint.
Family issues, relationships, and love got into the way of their true friendship. That was until Lucas and Adelyn re-entered the town seven years later. Will their friendship be rekindled? Or is it far too late?
A novel about friendships, love, relationships, and the true reality of colors.
