Dogs were mauling babies to death and a man became fed up when his wife commited suicide after the loss of their only child to dog mauling.The man used his influence to convince the whole town to kill and chase away all the dogs. Most of the dogs were killed while the rest of them ran to a wasteland to fend for themselves. A strange creature unseen by human eyes rose from the abyss and started preying on men, dogs are mortal enemies/nemesis to this creatures but this was unknown by man. A young boy wandered close to the wasteland and saw a dog trapped in one of the human traps, he had never seen a dog before but heard stories, he fell in love with the dog and the dog fell in love with him. Together they started a quest to reconcile man with his best friend and in the process extinguished the creatures preying on the town
