Life was not fair to Aerys – or so she thought. She believes that she is not meant to be the next ruler of Moon Cove Pack, but things change when her father dies and she is made to step up as the Luna of the pack as his only child. Just when Aerys is done with her training and is ready to lead her people in the right direction, the new Alpha of the neighboring pack starts to cut them off and create problems for them. As her plans of reaching out to the Alpha and talking it out are thwarted, she decides to head to the pack herself, where she finds out that the Alpha of the neighboring pack is her mate. Complications arise when the Alpha grows arrogant and adamant about claiming Aerys as his mate, and a battle ensues, causing both packs to take the sides of their respective leaders. Aerys is put in a tight spot by the people she is supposed to trust, and when she is killed by one of them and finds herself back alive but in a different situation, she vows to get revenge on everyone that has caused her pain in her past life.
