The Darkclaw Pack. That was the name of my pack. My bloodline was the founder of this pack, with its own rules and laws. My name is Daphne Hopkins and I am the firstborn child to my parents. Darla Hopkins and Preston Hopkins, Luna and Alpha of our pack. I say first born because as our tradition goes, the firstborn child is next in line for alpha. And it wouldn't be complicated, if I was the only child. I do love my brother Jacob to death, but that means I need to fight for my title. You see. The alpha title goes to the firstborn, no matter gender. Though it gets complicated when the second child is born, at least in this case. The firstborn needs to be a man if there are more children born and as you know, I am not. Since I am a female, the title still belongs to me, though it's not handed to me. The title is supposed to be passed down on my 18th birthday, but that also means anyone in the pack are allowed to fight me for the title to be theirs on my 18th birthday, if they believe me to not be a good Alpha.
