Is it okay to be okay when l m not okay with everythingUpdated at Jun 15, 2022, 11:56
Hi l m Kiara living in Newyork as an author of fairytales.l was born in Europe but stayed in Newyork since 10years till now so l m half half .
Kiara is a popular but antisocial children’s author who has a penchant for dark fairytale themes but falls for So Joon a caregiver at a psychiatric ward.
lt turns out they have a shared the same childhood but ended up meeting again. She only thinks of herself and is very selfish.
tells the story of two brothers, So joon and his older brother So yoon. Due to the loss of their mother at a young age, So joon becomes the sole caretaker of So yoon, who has Autism Spectrum Disorder. As So yoon was the only one who witnessed their mother’s murder, he has traumatic nightmares inexplicably having to do with butterflies attacking him—and the two have to be ready to pack up and leave at a moment’s notice in order for So yoon to feel safe again and for their life to be livable. Before their next move, the brothers meet Kiara, So yoon s favorite children’s book author, and she and So joon develop a romantic relationship. She too, is not without her own personal mental health issues and trauma. Without a doubt, portraying mental illnesses, healing, and the bonds between brothers. Unfortunately, when the show dives more into the mystery surrounding the murder of So joon and So yoon’s mother, it borders on mediocre.
What I liked the most about I is the character of So yoon is that he is not relegated to the role of a side character or any kind of plot device, as so many characters with Autism Spectrum Disorder are. Instead, he is an integral part of the show, and his thoughts, feelings, and needs are shown as extremely important to everyone. In fact, Kiara essentially has to gain So yoon’s approval before officially dating So joon. This is a main sticking point of the show, as So yoon is used to his younger brother basing his entire life around him and his needs. It’s really beautiful how these three characters form a “found” family over time—one that not only accepts each other’s mental health issues, but loves each other for them. I feel like Kiara and So joon’s relationship is more powerful because of having to go slowly to gain So yoon ’s acceptance and because of overcoming their own personal issues.
let's see if these 3 will become a real family or maybe its just a child s play nobody nows everybody is curious lets see
