The story revolves around two people, Ryan and Rose who are quite unfortunate. Coming in between their unpredicted love is Floral Royal, Ryan's crush and business partner. Rose is the daughter of Santiago Mateo( an addicted gambler and a chronic drunkard) and Cecilia Caesar Santiago. Ryan Lopez a young rich handsome though rude, businessman, is an owner of one of the biggest companies in Manila in the Philippines. He also owns a secret gambling house called the Gate Casino. Ryan and Santiago engaged in gambling, Santiago not willing to accept defeat from Ryan who claimed he was new to the game bet with her only child, Rose. Santiago regretting his actions and failing to take back his child despite his efforts committed suicide. As you know one cannot decide who the heart beats for, Ryan fell in love with Rose and vice versa. Floral not ready to lose his long crush plotted a plan which eventually fell in place. Diego Lopez, who is Ryan's uncle craving for revenge for his son, Marco along with Lia Benson Royal, Flora's mother made a plan to eliminate Ryan.
