The Magick Shop Place

Lilian and Cynthia are life-long friends. They grew up together, even when other close friends had drifted apart. They were once a group of four witches, a young coven. In just one night, their lives would forever alter. After a ritual that they tried to perform went horribly wrong. Lily, Cynthia, Ashley, and Fiona all snuck out of their homes and met at the edge of the most wooded area in their suburban town. They wore they ceremonial robes and brought their candles. Cynthia took chalk, and they all casted a circle on the ground in an open clearing. You could say they made the best out of a dark turn of events. But the darkness in their lives only grew as time went on. Nowadays, Lily and Cynthia live humble lives and have new friends, but the coven had broken after that horrible year before graduation. People come by the shop, mostly passerbys that had meaning to walk in. Customers come in for readings or crystals and spell ingredients or both. The two also participate at local events; flea markets, etc. for promotional purposes and as an additional source of stable income. The shop is an old house they bought in an old town, Beacon Hill, which is a few miles west of Seattle, WA. They paid as much as they could put down. To create a safe space and manifest a new sanctuary. A place they felt they could live, practice, and when open to the public, provide assistance in the craft. But new things start happening rapidly and resurface ancient history. The timeline of darkness rears its ugly head yet again. Just when they thought it was all behind them in the past, it turns out that nothing has been delayed, passed, or forgiven. People say the world is a cruel place, and from where they're standing, humans are to blame.
