His mother was a legend—the most beautiful woman in the entire village—yet she chose to marry the most ordinary of men. But on the night of his birth, that happiness was torn apart. His mother vanished, leaving behind a bed soaked in fresh blood, shredded curtains, and claw marks on the window. Dark myths shrouded the Narrator’s life as he grew up never knowing the truth—was his mother human, or something far older and far more terrifying? Years later, in an attempt to uncover the mystery of his birth, the Narrator joins a mysterious expedition team led by the cold and unpredictable Yue Qian. Their journey takes them deep into a hidden wilderness where the laws of nature no longer apply. When confronted by a three-meter-long Giant Blue Fish—a mutated creature with a razor-sharp horn and icy eyes—the Narrator is certain his death has come. But instead of attacking, the monster bows obediently at Yue Qian’s command: “Show the way.” Now, they must follow the guidance of a mutated enemy into the darker depths of the forest, toward a truth possibly more horrifying than his mother’s disappearance. Is the horn the key to discovering who he truly is, or a warning of catastrophe?
