It seemed that even stars and the moon had abandoned them tonight. Her father and brothers were dead. Her whole pack has been slaughtered down to the youngest pups. And they were cornered with no escape in sight. Isabelle’s mother pulled her in by her shoulders and looked her deep in the eyes as three menacing figures crept closer, lit only by their family home that now was engulfed in flames. “I love you, be strong my darling.” She spoke in hushed voice. Nora Sealgair had a great life. She was popular in school, had good grades and was well liked by everyone. She was the head cheerleader and her boyfriend was the captain of the basketball team.
