The sun never felt this warm holding me in its embrace. A warmth not too sharp and not too distant. The cold water gently touching my fingertips and smoothly flowing. A beautiful feeling I didn’t want to let go of, but this feeling was short lived as the excruciating pain shot through me yet again and, I asked myself why? As my vision settled the warmth was the fire torch held right beside me by some figure and the cold water was just the blood flowing through the deep cuts I had.
