Omezuo returns home from school with a bright future; being an only son he is expected to get married and he understands this. With only his trust in God to guide him through he picks a young girl from his village and they get married before travelling abroad to further his studies. This is the story of a young couple in love but unable to communicate due to high expectations they placed on each other. This is a story of spousal abuse and its damaging effects on marriage.
