ABOUTquote
I am a single mother of two amazing kiddos, I work full time but I also write fulltime as well as I am a college student. My inspiration is J.K. Rowling. If she can go from a similar situation to what I am going through, and get to where she is at now, so can I. Perseverance is key!

Winter's Mate

This task that my father has sent me here for is so mediocre. I'm sauntering through this tiny town that they call Wolf Creek. The Blood Reign pack inhabits this territory. As I am roaming the streets of this town, I suddenly get a whiff of the most amazing scent that I have ever known. It drives my beast inside absolutely nuts. What is that smell? I've got to find it! I start to follow this scent through the streets and alleys of this tiny town. I end up in this little coffee shop and I immediately see where the scent is coming from. Sitting there, in her magnificent aura, is this beautiful girl. She is a young wolf. seeing her sitting there, my beast awakens fully and tries to escape me, but I hold him back. "Mate!" my beast howls. How can this be? Lycans don't have mates gifted from Mother Moon. At least it is exceedingly rare indeed. "I must have her! I NEED her!" my beast snarls at me. I cautiously walk up to her, "Hello, mind if I sit here with you?" I am sitting here at Sybil's Coffee shop, reading a book like I do every day. Out of nowhere I smell an unfamiliar but inviting scent. I look around to see the regulars of this place, except for one. I've never seen the man that just came in before. He is tall and muscular, with the most beautiful blonde hair and emerald green eyes I have ever seen. I quickly look away as I can feel myself beginning to blush. I go back to reading my book. Next thing I know, he is standing by my table asking if he can sit with me. "Who is that?" my wolf asks as she comes to the front of my mind. Before I can stop myself, "sure" I gently tell this man. This beautiful little wolf is so petite and fragile. My beast yearns for her. For her to be in my arms and for me to be inside her. To protect and nurture her for the rest of our existence. “Why hasn’t she recognized us as her mate yet?” my beast whimpers. I can’t answer my beast due to the fact that I am wondering the same thing. I just know that SHE IS MINE!!
