"Is there a law that says we can't have each other?"
"Shhhhh, don't say anything."
Those words stirred up hunger crawling in the deepest parts of me like I'd never felt before. I raised my face to him, craving to be touched. To be caressed by this man. The repercussion was staring back at me, yelling at me to raise my guards up, but I didn't go back to my vomit.
His fingers traced the lines of my lips, and my body responded with a hundred degrees heat. My organs were toast.
"Don't leave me." I begged with my lips and eyes. I sounded like what I felt. Needy. Aroused. Husky even.
"I'm aware your heart is with someone else, I'll respect that." The last two words were uttered reluctantly.
"Is there a law that says we can't have each other?”
"I know of none."
"If there isn't, then why not?”
