Esperanza has the apparatus to turn time in reverse and forward. She can jump from present to past to re-do her activities, and bounce from present to future to perceive what she will turn into. However, with consistent use of her time-travel watch, it begins to breakdown and transports her to some other time-frame, the Spanish Colonization Era in the Philipines. With a messed up wristwatch, she could at this point don't turn time neither back nor fro. Scared, she can at this point don't get back in her time. At some point, Esperanza met the lord of Time and gave her assignments. Bangun, the Visayan lord of Time guaranteed that if she'll prevail in her errand, she'll get an opportunity to return to her time. Will Esperanza win in her journey or be always trapped previously, the year 1892, hollering in hopelessness?
